Three-Car Collision Pins Passenger

At least three people were injured early Friday afternoon after a crash on Washington Avenue near Chestnut Street.

At least three people were injured early Friday afternoon after a three-car collision on Washington Avenue near Chestnut Street in Garden City.

Two SUVs and a small sedan were involved with one passenger pinned in the sedan, according to a witness on the scene.

Firefighters arrived and used special tools to remove the doors so EMS crews could reach the patient. Ambulances from Nassau County and Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps were on scene to transport the injured.
