EPOA to Hold Public Meeting, Candidate Town Hall

Residents can learn more about candidates Dennis Donnelly and Francine Ryan.

The Eastern Property Owners’ Association is holding a public meeting Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Stewart School auditorium.

This meeting includes two important segments. The initial portion of the meeting will introduce the two trustee candidates from the East. Dennis Donnelly (sitting trustee) is up for re-election and was selected as the nominee by the East Nominating Committee. Francine Ryan has challenged, through petition, to also run for this position.

To assist residents in learning more about each candidate, there will be the first candidate Town Hall Q&A. Residents will be able to ask each candidate about their qualifications and perspectives on village issues. (Please note- since there has been a challenge to the East Committee nomination, a run-off election has been scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 29.)

Following the Town Hall, the regular public meeting of the EPOA will continue with updates on several issues, including an overview of the coming budget cycle and recent board of trustee decisions. All residents are encouraged to attend this important meeting.
