The Arbors Assisted Living Communities is hosting a series of free “Aid & Attendance” Veteran Pension Benefit Seminars to help educate and provide information about eligibility and the
application process to veterans about the new rate increases that took effect in 2012. The federally funded Veterans Administration’s (VA) Aid and Attendance Pension is available to wartime military veterans and their families. A Q&A
session will immediately follow the discussion, which will be led by The Arbors Veterans Liaison, Patrick Yyngstrom, former Nassau County Director of Veterans Affairs and long-time Deputy Director. Light refreshments will be served.
