The Garden City Board of Trustees will hold their first budget session tonight. The meeting is open to the public.
While trying to keep up with rising employee pensions, health insurance and police and firefighter disability benefits, and keep municipal infrastructure costs and property taxes in check, trustees will seek to responsibly pare down Garden City's finances without doing away with the services residents have come to expect in town.
