If You Could Ask the Presidential Candidates One Question, What Would it Be?

Tuesday night's presidential debate at Hofstra University differs from the others in that it delineates a more limited role for the debate moderator.

Questions aimed at President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney will be driven by audience members.

Patch wants to know if you had the opportunity to ask the candidates one question - what would it be?

The town-hall debate is planned for Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. at Hofstra University in Hempstead.

Why don't you stop the secretive, easy money policies of the Federal Reserve that have decimated the purchasing power of the US$, have caused virtually every bubble in financial assets in this country, enriches big banks at the expense of taxpayers, specifically savers and those on fixed incomes, promotes consumption rather than investment, distorts the entire interest rate spectrum leading to massive misallocation of capital, promotes deficit spending, etc. Why don't you END the FED now?

Mr. Romney, Why should the American people believe that you will not repeat the disastrous economic and foreign policy decisions made by your Republican predecessor? You have no firm convictions or principles about anything, you have no leadership skills and would be a prime target for manipulation and deception by the Wall Street thieves and their buddies, the neo-cons. You are the quintessential "empty suit."
