Adelphi Circle K is hosting an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at 6 p.m., in the Ballroom of the University Center at Adelphi University.
Keeping with the theme, fairy tales, attendees are invited to the King’s Royal Ball for dining and entertainment. Throughout the night participants find out who dies, visit each of the evidence rooms, interview suspects, and after review, accuse someone of murder.
“The planning committee has been working hard creating the plot, developing characters and making this Murder Mystery a blast for all ages,” said Sophia Conti, president of Adelphi Circle K, the collegiate branch of the Kiwanis family.
Kiwanis and UNICEF have partnered to eliminate maternal neonatal tetanus, a preventable disease that kills mothers and babies around the world.
All are invited to attend the Murder Mystery and help eliminate this deadly disease. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for students; 100 percent of ticket sales go directly to the Eliminate Project.
