There is a combined regular Board of Education meeting and budget work session (#4) this evening at Garden City High School beginning at 8:15 p.m.
District officials encourage residents to attend its public meetings to offer input during the budget formulation process and to gain an understanding of budget challenges as the district enters its second year under the state’s tax levy limit cap mandate.
All meetings are held at the high school beginning at 8:15 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The remaining meeting include:
- Tuesday, March 19 Regular Board Meeting and Budget Work Session #4: Instructional Components Part I
- Wednesday, April 10 Budget Work Session # 5: Instructional Components Part II
- Tuesday, April 16 Regular Board Meeting: Adoption of the District Budget and BOCES Budget
- Tuesday, May 7 Regular Work Session: Budget Hearing
- Tuesday, May 21 – 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Budget Vote and Election
