The middle and high schools were two of the 249 public schools in 163 districts designated. A congratulatory letter and certificates were sent to principals Nanine McLaughlin at the high school and Dr. Peter Osroff at the middle school to mark the achievement.
The designation is given each year to NYS public schools that demonstrate “having all its students achieve college and career-ready standards” by making the “most progress or having the highest performance with no significant gaps in student achievement.”
