Hannon Salutes 'Youth Leadership' Award Winners

Sen. Kemp Hannon recently congratulated Waldorf School students Peter Escribano, Elizabeth Wenner and Christiana Fahey and Garden City High School students Alix Della Penna, Kathlin McGovern and Drusilla Falco on being named winners of his “Youth Leadership” Award.

The award, open to all sophomores and juniors in the sixth Senate District, was created to honor outstanding students in five leadership categories: academic, athletic, community, school and overall.

Escribano was named a winner in the School Leadership category; Penna and Fahey were named winners in the Overall Award category; Wenner was named a winner in the Athletic category; McGovern was named a winner in the Community category; and Drusilla was named a winner in the Academic Leadership category.
