High School Playoff Revisions

Second revision of the playoff schedule - weather and field conditions permitting.

Let's try this again, because of the affects of the nor'easter, Nassau's Section VIII athletic officials have pushed the schedules for the Fall playoffs. Any games that were scheduled for Thursday will now be played on Friday - weather and field conditions permitting.

Here are the updates regarding Garden City High School teams that have made it into the post season (again, weather and field conditions permitting):

Girls Soccer vs. North Shore @ Home on Friday, Nov. 9 @ 2:00

Girls Volleyball vs. Lawrence @ Home on Friday, Nov. 9 @ 4:15

Girls Field Hockey vs. Cold Spring Harbor @ Home on Friday, Nov. 9 @ 2:00

Girls Swim TEAM County Finals @ NCAC on Friday, Nov. 9 @ 6:30

Girls Diving TEAM County Finals @ NCAC on Saturday, Nov. 10 @ 9:00   

Football vs. Bellmore JFK @ Home on Saturday, Nov. 10 @ 1:30

Girls and Boys Cross Country teams both advanced to the NY State Meet as the top team from Nassau County Class B. The State meet is in Buffalo on Saturday, Nov. 10. The teams left today to travel to Buffalo.
