Quiz Bowl 2012: Team McAuley Edges Out Team Esposito

Students take part in epic four rounds of sudden death overtime.

Garden City High School’s Intramural Quiz Bowl is a trivia competition organized and hosted by social studies teacher Kevin O'Hagan.

The tournament requires teams composed of one teacher and three students to compete against one another in four, 100-question rounds. Three teams then advance to the IQB finals. This year’s teams were led by science teacher Dr. John Slater, science teacher Domenick Esposito and social studies teacher Scott McAuley.

After 150 questions, and an epic four rounds of sudden-death overtime, “Team McAuley” edged out “Team Esposito” to secure the title.
