School District Building Tours Continue

Want to catch a glimpse of the completed construction work at the middle and high school?

Don't miss the next building tours Oct. 16, 7:30 p.m., at Garden City Middle School to view the new gymnasium, locker rooms, fitness center, new classrooms, and energy upgrades and Nov. 13, 7:30 p.m. at Garden City High School to view the music addition and energy upgrades.

Both tours are scheduled prior to the next two school board meetings.

On Sept. 20, participants toured Homestead School to view the new library, art and music addition and energy upgrades.

Community support of the 2009 School Investment Bond is enabling the school district to make changes and additions in all nine district buildings.

The Board of Education and district administration and staff said the are "deeply grateful to the community for the support that enables Garden City Public Schools’ to continuously improve its outstanding educational program."
