SCOPE Education Services Announces Launch of New Virtual College Prep Courses through Innovative Web Conferencing Technology
For the First Time, Students Have Options to Choose When to Take Courses

Smithtown, NY (December 12, 2012)SCOPE Education Services is proud to announce the launch of  a virtual, interactive, online college preparatory program in New York State. Using the latest in web conferencing technology, these innovative online courses allow for students to study and prepare for the SAT, PSAT, or ACT exams at a schedule that best meets the needs of their lifestyle.

“We are extremely excited to announce this real-time online approach to college prep courses,” said Director of SCOPE Education Services George L. Duffy III. “The SCOPE college prep courses follow the same curriculum as our classroom courses; however we’ve created a lesson plan to benefit the lifestyles of each individual student. With a smaller class size and flexible schedule, we’re able to accommodate the needs of high school students from across Long Island.”

Designed as an interactive, virtual classroom, the SCOPE year-round courses are available for all Long Island high school students looking to enhance their preparation for the SAT, PSAT, and ACT exams. The interactive prep courses are taught in real-time through a variety of voice, video and instant messaging by experienced teachers from across Long Island.  Cost associated with each course is lower than other providers offering college prep classes and SCOPE is offering full web-based learning environment opportunities to best fit students needs.

Compared to traditional prep courses, students enrolled in the virtual classroom are offered the opportunity to complete the classes at a schedule that best fits their weekly routine. The courses are taught in sync with the set standardized testing dates. Students can log onto www.scopeonline.us to review courses and register for classes.
