Earth Day Earth Run
Ready, Set, Go Have Fun!
The First Annual Earth Day Earth Run at the Garden City Bird Santuary is scheduled as a family oriented fun time. Like to run? There is a timed 3K race at 10 AM, a 1.5 k race at 11 and a 1k obstacle course race at 11:30. Enjoy music, displays, tours of the 9 acre sanctuary, special guests, food, mini-cupcakes and a celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the forming of the Village of Garden City's volunteer Environmental Advisory Board. Free Arbor Day Posters too!

The funds raised are designated for a solar powered irrigation well needed at the site. It's a $50,000 ticket, but a sustainable means of providing water and saving the cost of treatment and pumping from municipal drinking water sources. Come on down.
