2012 Long Island Film Expo Screening Schedule Set

The annual event comes to Bellmore once again.

The 15th Annual Long Island International Film Expo will start on Thursday at the Bellmore Movie Theater until July 19.

Nassau County Film Commissioner and festival organizer Debra Markowitz said that this year's expo will offer something for everyone.

"If they're looking for something different rather then the same old studio films, there are over 142 films from around the world they could see so they're going to see something they like," she said.

Check out Patch's preview coverage of the films.
