Adelphi University Receives Grants from ILUUF

Long Island Unitarian Universalist Fund gives grants to six Long Island-based organizations.

The Long Island Unitarian Universalist Fund (LIUUF) recently awarded $125,000 in grants in six sectors of non-profit work, according to a press release from the organization. The LIUUF is a “field-of-interest” fund within the Long Island Community Foundation (LICF) that supports “progressive social change,” the release said.

Adelphi University was among the recipients, which also included the Five Towns Community Center, Immigration Legal Services of Long Island and  Sepa Mujer and Tri-State Transportation Campaign.

“We are grateful for these grants that recognize both the quality of our programs as well as the University's connectedness to the region,” said Lori Duggan Gold, Vice President for Communications at Adelphi University.
