Hicks Nurseries Supports Meghan's Pansies Breast Cancer Fund
Meghan's Pansies is a special fund established in memory of Meghan Kenny Halloran, a Garden City resident who succumbed to breast cancer at age 31.
For the 12th year, Hicks Nurseries in Westbury is raising money for the Meghan’s Pansies Breast Cancer Fund.
From now until the end of April, for each specially marked pansy six-pack that is sold, 15¢ will be donated to the fund.
Meghan's Pansies, which is administered by the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program, educates young women and men about breast cancer.
