Items of the Week From The A.T. Stewart Exchange

Here are this week's Items of the Week from the A.T. Stewart Exchange: a pair of bamboo chairs with cane seats. Think 1940s Hollywood, Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca! These chairs are solid, sturdy and in mint condition. All you need to add are some colorful cushions or pillows, a fan and a cold beverage. Enjoy them in your home. They are priced at $150 each and are available at the time of posting.

The  A.T. Stewart Exchange (consignment shop), located on the lower level of The Garden City Historical Society Museum, offers unique items for sale and is run by volunteers. Founded in 1975, The Garden City Historical Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. The shop is located at 109 Eleventh Street in Garden City 516-746-8900 and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Parking is available behind the museum.
