Items of the Week From The A.T. Stewart Exchange: An Attractive Seating Arrangement

A tapestry-covered chair, a candlestick-lamp table and more are in the spotlight this week.

Here are this week's "Items of the Week" from the A.T. Stewart Exchange in Garden City: This week we're featuring an attractive seating arrangement. We begin with a handsome, tapestry-covered chair that has been recently reduced to $112.50. Next, the candlestick-lamp table, just arrived, is priced at $90. It's all hardwood, smart and would fit well in a bedroom, den or living room. On the table, from left to right, there's a lovely Asian-themed cup and saucer priced at $15, a single brass candlestick for $15 and a collectible Royal Doulton, Toby cigarette lighter for $24. The cache pot, at the base of the table, is only $35. All items are available at the time of posting.

The A.T. Stewart Exchange (consignment shop), located on the lower level of The Garden City Historical Society, offers unique items for sale and is run by volunteers. Founded in 1975, The Garden City Historical Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All profits go to the restoration of the Museum. The shop is located at 109 Eleventh Street in Garden City, just west of Franklin Avenue (516.746.8900). It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Parking is available behind the Museum. Please visit the Society's website at http://www.gardencityhistoricalsociety.org/.
