Items of the Week from the A.T. Stewart Exchange: Items for Fall

Bearington Bears, fall swags, mantle candles and more are all in the spotlight this week.

This week's find at The A.T. Stewart Exchange includes exciting new Fall items -everything from Bearington Bears, flower arrangements to little girls' bows. From the top shelf down, we begin with Bearington Bear's "Beary Scary" item at $15, followed by a pair of mantle candles at $26, a lovely, silk-flower centerpiece for only $39, a wood turkey decoration for $20 and an authentic Indian mother doll for $20.

On the next shelf, we have more Bearington Bears priced from $17 to $26, a standing, ceramic rooster for $4 and a gorgeous, burgundy-flower arrangement for $28.

The next two shelves display more Bearington Bears at prices from $17 up to $26, a standing rooster covered dish for $12, a piece of Majolica for $36 and little girls' bows priced at $6 for a 3-in-1 hair bow.

The very bottom shelf displays Cape Cod silver polish at $16 per tin, a Rogers silver-plate pitcher for $10 and candle adhesive tins for $4 each. On either side of the cabinet are Fall swags offered at $28 each. All items are available at the time of posting.

The A.T. Stewart Exchange (consignment shop), located on the lower level of the Garden City Historical Society, offers unique items for sale and is run by volunteers. Founded in 1975, The Garden City Historical Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. All profits go to the restoration of the Museum. The shop is located at 109 Eleventh Street in Garden City, just west of Franklin Avenue, 746-8900. It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
