This Week's Top Picks From The High Top Shop

Memorial Day weekend closures and 'Wish List' items.

We have so many new items that came in the last 24 hours, so come on in! We will be closed this weekend and Monday so our volunteers can spend the holiday weekend with their families, but will reopend Tuesday, May 29. We hope you all take the time to thank our loyal service people who protect and serve both in the U.S. and abroad, and also remember those we have lost.

Many of you have asked who we help in recent weeks and we've done a new window depicting the many charities, schools and organizations we support. We also have a few pics of our volunteers at work. We hope you'll stop by the shop soon! Enjoy the long weekend.

WISH LIST: The introduction of the Wish List last week was a hit. Here are a few more items we would love you to donate:

  • Baseball Memorabilia
  • Chairs
  • Garden Statuary and Pots
  • Window Treatments

If you have any of the above-mentioned items and want to donate them we will gladly accept them and offer you a tax receipt!

just reading Jane Goodall with my son for school and came across this quote of an amazing womanRead More "every individual matters, every individual has a role to play, every individual makes a difference." that is what makes our nation, our village so great everyone has an opinion whether we agree with it or not. It just saddens me to think some may not voice their opinion in the future because of the rather harsh comments which I'm sure were just meant to get a point across rather than be hurtful. Garden City residents are not afraid to get involved, to stand up for what they believe in and I am proud to live here.

Thank you GcSupporter#2 I love quotes! tells so much about the person and their beliefs and life...IRead More had to look up Principal Joe Clark after that....definitely a man I'd like to learn more about. I always try to use quotes with my children and their school work - I think the spoken and written word of others is so important!
