WEATHER ALERT: Dense Fog Rolling Into Garden City

National Weather Service warns that visibility will frequently be reduced.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory through midnight Monday for Garden City and the surrounding area.

While rain showers are also on tap through the remainder of Monday, temperatures are expected to remain in the 40s until the evening.

The fog will create hazardous driving conditions. Visibility will frequently be reduced to one-quarter mile or less.

The NWS advises motorists to use low-beam headlights when driving and leave plenty of distance ahead in case a sudden stop is needed.
