So with an already built mall - The Source - looking emptier and emptier by the day and a desperateRead More need to diversify and expand the region's economy, we go the way of other dead-end regions and shoot for the stars with an outlet center. Not a mixed use development, not a business incubator or science center, not even a few office buildings...an outlet strip mall - the consumer retail bizzzzz If our business leaders and government officials are on a bet to see how quickly and ironically they could crash Nassau County - they're doing a good job.

as much as i think that whole retail space is going to make old country road an even bigger trafficRead More nightmare... i'm kind of excited for this store and trader joe's. but it will be hard to compete with ikea's prices on storage items.

Spent 40 minutes two weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon around 5PM driving on Old Country Rd.Read More traveling west. Bottleneck started just past Ellison Ave. and didn't stop till almost Glen Cove Rd. It's not even close to Christmas yet. Haven't been in that Mall, never will go to that Mall. I live in Garden City and will stick with Lord and Taylor and all stores west of here from now on. It's just ridiculous what has happened in this area with all the Malls. What are they going to do with what has become an eyesore at The Source Mall? Probably knock it down and build another mall. Holey moley, time to move. Horrible, horrible.
