Chamber to Present Candidates for County Exec

The season kick-off luncheon program is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Garden City Hotel.

At the Garden City Chamber of Commerce’s season kick-off luncheon program Sept. 25, the nominees for Nassau County executive will serve as keynote speakers.

The luncheon will be held at the Garden City Hotel.

Republican incumbent Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano will speak along with Democratic candidate Tom Suozzi, who bested Adam Haber in Tuesday's primary.

Both Mangano and Suozzi have formally accepted the chamber’s invitation to voice their views, but only the Democratic and Republican candidates will speak separately, expressing their respective views on the future of Nassau County and its impact upon the business community, according to chamber officials.

The election for county executive will take place Nov. 5.
