New Library Board Trustee Takes the Oath

Long time Garden City resident Peter D'Antonio, PhD, took the oath of office as Garden City Public Library board trustee June 10.

D'Antonio, an economist with Citi Group, said he remembers as a child the current library being built and looks forward to his tenure on the board.

J. Randolph Colahan (chair), Gloria Weinrich (vice chair) and John D. Schultz (trustee), current trustees also sworn in June 10, welcomed D'Antonio to the board.

Peter and his wife, Angelique, have three children, who like their father attended Garden City Schools.
