Bomb Threat Evacuates Stratford School

After a thorough search of the school by the Garden City Police Department "no danger has been found."

Stratford School is being evacuated due to a reported bomb threat at the school.

Parents of students attending the school received a robo call from the school district this afternoon.

In an email sent to parents at 2:23 p.m., superintendent of schools Dr. Robert Feirsen, said after a thorough search of the school by the Garden City Police Department "no danger has been found."

Students are on their way back to Stratford, and they will be dismissed from the school.

"We ask for your patience as we supervise students as they return, collect their belongings and prepare for dismissal," Dr. Feirsen said. "Please wait for your child to be dismissed or return on the bus. After school child care will take place as usual. Thank you for your cooperation--your assistance helped ensure student safety."
