Lord & Taylor to Host Chamber's Annual 'Taste of Garden City'

The after hours networking event will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 6-8 p.m.

For the seventh consecutive year, Lord & Taylor will host the Garden City Chamber of Commerce's "Taste of Garden City" after hours networking event.

The early kick-off the the 2013 holiday season will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 6-8 p.m. in the Sarabeth Restaurant at the north-east corner of Lord & Taylor's second level. Chamber member restaurants and eateries will provide samplings of their finest cuisine.

"Taste of Garden City" organizers are John Appelt, chamber 1st vice president; Tom McCambridge, 2nd vice president; Althea Robinson, chamber executive director; Dana Amoroso, Lord & Taylor personal shopper; Joseph Ricaurte, Lord & Taylor vice president/general store manager; Colleen Harkins, Lord & Taylor regional manager; James Cooke, assistant store manager; Liz Denby, chamber assistant director; and Roger Eltringham, the chamber's immediate past president.

Advance reservations are required at $25 for chamber members, $30 for non members. (Chamber members may bring guests at the chamber fee.) Please makes checks payable to the Garden City Chamber of Commerce and deliver or mail to the Chamber at 230 Seventh St. by Friday, Nov. 15. Telephone reservations at 746-7724 are accepted by phone, fax 746-7725; or email: GCChamber@verizon.net.
