Garden City Small Businesspersons of the Year, Dale Brokaw, Jan McDonough (not present) and Lois Tighe were honored during the 2013 Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce Small Businessperson of the Year and Legislative Breakfast held Friday at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.

In April, nearly 400 guests packed the grand ballroom of the Garden City Hotel to celebrate the 11th annual Pineapple Ball, where Brokaw, McDonough and Tighe, along with “Citizen of the Year” Anthony (Tony) P. Randi, D.D.S., founder and chair of the Jay Gallagher Memorial lacrosse tournament, and Diane Chapman, “Community Achievement Award” recipient, were formally honored.
