Get Up Close and Personal with Earth at the Cradle This Weekend

The Cradle of Aviation celebrated the grand opening of its Jet Blue Sky Theater Planetarium Saturday, World Astronomy Day.

The digital exhibit is treating kids to realistic, close-up views of Earth, star fields and planets and taking them on a flight through a virtual re-creation of the universe.

The JetBlue Sky Theater Planetarium is also offering three new shows: One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure to the Moon, We are Astronomers and Passport to the Universe narrated by Tom Hanks.

All planetarium tickets today and Monday are $5 for children or adults (does not include museum admission and cannot be combined with any other offer.) Visit www.cradleofaviation.org for fall hours.
