Garden City Environmental Advisory Board Sets Priorities

The board is currently considering what priorities it should emphasize during the upcoming year.

In recent years, the Garden City Environmental Advisory Board (EAB) has looked into a number of issues that impact the village. We have also co-sponsored a presentation on organic lawn care at the Garden City Library.

The board is currently considering what priorities it should emphasize during the upcoming year. We are inviting Garden City residents who have environmental concerns that they wish the board to consider to contact us.

The trustee chairman of the Environmental Advisory Board is Bob Bolebruch.  Larry Quinn is the representative for the West; Ben Mahler for Central; Ed Heaney for Estates and Leo Stimmler for the East. Christopher Gorman and Elizabeth Bailey are at-large representatives.

Garden City residents wishing to contact the EAB can contact their section representatives or they can contact Elizabeth Bailey at 37 Chestnut Street or emb158@aol.com.
