1. St. Joseph School P.T.A. Harvest Culinary Market: A full-scale culinary event at Saint Joseph School Friday is a chance to shop for all your holiday hosting needs, including mums, pumpkins, cider, pies, fresh pasta, gluten-free products and more! The market starts at 10 a.m.

2. Children’s Witches Brew Tea at The Garden City Hotel: On Saturday from 2-5 p.m., a new Halloween-themed tea menu for all the family takes shape in the private dining rooms at REIN at the Garden City Hotel. Tea sandwiches and sweet pastries by Chef Steven De Bruyn and Pastry Chef David Lugo will be served with a selection of loose teas and herbal infusions befitting the witches brew theme. Costumed characters will bewitch guests while sounds of witching season will chill spines. Guests are welcome to wear costumes. The cost is $39 per person, for both adults and children, and is free for children under two-years-old. Reservations are encouraged. Call 516-877-9385.

3. Harvest Fair and Antique Sale: Shop 'til you drop at Christ Episcopal Church Saturday between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Your choice of homemade baked goods, jams and pickles, farm fresh produce, fall flowers, books and media items, new gifts, handmade cards and so much more.

4. Annual Fall Fair at the Waldorf School: The annual event brings hundreds of visitors to The Waldorf School of Garden City each year. On Saturday, activities kick off at 10 a.m., including pumpkin painting and other craft activities for small children, a magical puppet show, athletic games for the older children, a tag sale, food and much more.

5. Ethics Bowl: There will be an Ethics Bowl presentation at 11 a.m Sunday at the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island. Roberta Israeloff, executive director of Ethics Bowl competitions, is bringing students from this year's winning team - Bethpage High School. Click here for more information.
