‘Person of Interest’ Seen Filming on Long Island

Hit CBS show's star Jim Caviezel snapped outside Nassau County Police Department headquarters.

A “person of interest” strolled right past Nassau County Police headquarters Tuesday without getting arrested.

NCPD posted a picture on their Facebook page of Jim Caviezel, star of hit CBS show, Person of Interest, as he walked near NCPD headquarters Tuesday.

The actor, known for his role in the show and versatile acting in films like The Passion of the Christ and The Count of Monte Cristo, filmed scenes involving theatrical gunfire, reported Newsday. One scene was filmed outside involving "passengers in a vehicle traveling on Franklin Avenue near 15th Street 'fired' on a group of people walking toward the Theodore Roosevelt Executive Office building," said the report. A second scene was filmed inside and another in the back parking lot where "actors portrayed a scene that included firing at a moving vehicle," said the report.
