Comedy writer Neil Simon has done it again in this warm & funny show about Herb, a Hollywood scriptwriter, & his teenage daughter from Brooklyn with dreams of movie stardom. Herbert Tucker is a struggling L.A. writer who abandoned his family in New York family 16 years earlier. Daughter Libby arrives on the doorstep of the father she barely remembers, convinced he can jump-start her film career. Dispensing guilt and demanding love, Libby forces Herb to accept the responsibilities of parenthood, and come to terms with his on-again/off-again relationship with girlfriend Steffy.
