"Read For The Record" At Anna House
This is a day that celebrates and encourages early childhood literacy by asking everyone around the would to pledge to read the same book on the same day. This year's choice was "Otis," by Loren Long.
Today we participated in "Read for the Record"
This is a day that celebrates and encourages early childhood literacy by asking everyone around the would to pledge to read the same book on the same day.This year's choice was "Otis," by Loren Long. It is a book about a tractor and a little calf who are great friends. Otis teaches our little readers just what it means to be a friend. We sang songs and talked about farm animals with our younger children and talked about friendship with our older kids.
They learned new words, enjoyed a nice story, and had a great memory with a book to take home to their families.
