Vacant in Garden City: Garden City Stitches
Economy claims yet another vacancy on Franklin Avenue.
Garden City Stitches has closed its doors after doing business in Garden City for approximately 35 years, according to John Wilton, chair of the Garden City Merchants Committee.
The store, a hot spot for those looking for yarn, also offered knitting classes for all skill levels and ages. The ever-popular Vera Bradley bags were also sold at Stitches in a variety of patterns, shapes and sizes.
