1. Talk Like A Pirate Day: Ahoy! Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. To get into the spirit, you'll need a hat. Check back at 8 a.m. to find out how this unique day came to be and what simple household supplies you'll need for your hat.

2. Sweat For Free: New York Sports Clubs (NYSC) is celebrating its 38th anniversary by opening the doors for Free Guest Day today. All NYSC locations will allow non-members looking to sweat it out to use their facilities throughout the day. More details here.

3. Tag Sale: There's a tag sale today at 124 Salisbury Avenue, 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., according to Invited Sales by Tracy Jordan. There's also an online auction today between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. at www.invitedsales.com.

4. Adelphi Exhibit: Movement in Gray, a drawing exhibition featuring the  works of Richard Vaux, John Oswald, and Patricia Mamatos, kicks off today at Adelphi. More details here.
