Library Creates Social Storybook for Children with Autism
"I Visit the Garden City Public Library" is currently available as both a reference copy and a circulating copy in the Children's Room.
The Garden City Public Library’s Children’s Department created a social storybook for children with autism, which features a wizard doll visiting the Garden City Public Library.
The book was funded by Federal Library Services & Technology funds, awarded to the NY State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
I Visit the Garden City Public Library is currently available as both a reference copy and a circulating copy in the Children’s Room office to check out or view at the Library.
