Circus Train Rolls Through Garden City, Backs Up Traffic

More than 100 train cars made their way through the village on their way to the Nassau Coliseum Monday afternoon.

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus train rolled through Garden City Monday afternoon on its annual trek to the Nassau Coliseum.

More than 100 train cars slowly crossed Clinton Road and Commercial Avenue, backing up traffic for more than two hours as it passed the fire station along St. James Street on its way to the E. Garden City yard.

The animals are expected to make the walk from Museum Row to the coliseum later this evening, around 8:30 p.m.
