Police: Several Cars Broken Into at Westbury Parking Lots

Nassau County Police are investigating multiple larcenies from parked automobiles and broken car windows in Westbury.

According to police, the incidents occurred in three different parking lots between Saturday, Dec. 22 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 23, at 2:30 a.m.

According to detectives, a 2010 Toyota and 2007 Mazda were broken into while parked in the Applebee’s parking lot at 1300 Corporate Dr. Entry was made through broken windows and a computer and video game system were removed.

Four vehicles including a 2006 Nissan, 2006 Cadillac, 1998 Nissan and 1998 Honda had their windows broken and merchandise removed while parked at Fulton Street and Drexel Avenue. Assorted clothing and a jacket were stolen.

While parked at 39 Post Ave. (Winners Circle Nite Club), four vehicles had their windows shattered and contents removed. Items reported stolen from a Nissan (unknown year), 1994 Nissan, 2007 Nissan and 2007 Lexus included three wallets, two handbags, an unknown amount of cash and credit cards.

The investigation is ongoing. Detectives request anyone with information regarding these crimes to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
