Police responded to yet another accident at Stewart Avenue and New Hyde Park Road Friday.

This is the third accident at the intersection in as many days.

Police and fire crews responded to a crash at the location Wednesday afternoon. Then on Thursday afternoon, a female driver was injured after her vehicle collided with another car.

A local resident stated that since he moved into the neighborhood just a short time ago, he's counted nearly a half dozen accidents at this location.

Friday's collision occurred shortly after 11 a.m. According to a witness, two people were injured and transported via county ambulance to a nearby hospital.
