Kiehl's Donating $10K to 'Save St. Paul's'

Grand opening party taking place Friday at new Roosevelt Field Mall store.

In celebration of the grand opening of its Garden City store, Kiehl's Since 1851 will be donating $10,000 to the Committee to Save St. Paul's.

The skin care retailer will be presenting the oversized check to the committee Friday at a special grand opening party in its new Roosevelt Field Mall store. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Garden City Mayor Donald Brudie, Deputy Mayor John Watras, Trustee Andrew Cavanaugh and Maureen Traxler, administrative and communications director for the Committee to Save St. Paul’s, are expected to attend.

New York artist Nathan Sawaya will be also be there, working to create a replica of the St. Paul’s clock tower using only his iconic art medium, LEGO® bricks.

Guests can also build their own works of art at a LEGO® bricks building station or design cupcakes, courtesy of The Cupcake Corner. The first 100 guests will also receive a complimentary Kiehl's gift.
