It’s National Voter Registration Day, a nationwide, nonpartisan effort to register thousands of voters on one single day!

As part of a voter education and outreach initiative, the Nassau County Board of Elections is holding voter education demonstrations at numerous locations around Nassau County, including two in E. Garden City.

Board of Elections staff members will demonstrate how to use both the electronic voting machine and the AutoMARK ballot-marking device. Voters will have a chance to practice voting on the machines before the Nov. 6 general election. Staff will also be available to register voters, supply absentee ballot applications and answer any questions about the voting process.
