With accumulations of 3 to 5 inches possible and slick road conditions expected, the following activities in Garden City have been cancelled for Tuesday:
- The Garden City school district has cancelled all after-school activities, with the exception of After Care.
- The Waldorf School of Garden City has cancelled all after-school and evening athletic games, practices, clubs and activities. Regular classes and school activities will operate until the normal 3:20 p.m. dismissal time but parents and guardians concerned about the weather and driving conditions can pick-up their children at any time. Staff will remain at the School until all children have been picked-up.
- St. Joseph School basketball games have been cancelled and will be rescheduled; practice will not be held either. Team members will go home at regular time. Further, the fourth grade field trip rescheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 10 has been postponed and will be rescheduled.
