The Garden City High School girls soccer team defeated Honeoye-Falls Lima 1-0 Sunday to claim the New York State crown.
Catherine Galzerano scored the game's only goal in the second half, and Taylor Carpentier made three saves to preserve the shutout.
Prior to Sunday's win, Garden City defeated Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Sayville and South Side.
