Andy Foundation's 'Breezy Build' Nearing Completion
Besides the work already done to help a family rebuild after Sandy, volunteers have been granted permission to build a community playground.
The Andy Foundation, which has been helping a Breezy Point family rebuild after Sandy, has just been granted permission to build a community playground this summer for young children in the tight-knit Queens neighborhood.
Work is expected to begin sometime in July.
Foundation volunteers began work on what's become known as the Breezy Build in March. The project is nearing the end and the family will be back home soon.
