Garden City Community
Church is hosting the Veterans Day Organ Recital on Sunday, November 18th at
4pm, rescheduled after an electrical power loss. It is co-sponsored by Nassau,
Suffolk, and Queens Chapters of the American Guild of Organists. All residents
are invited to hear the program of patriotic and commemorative works for
Veterans Day will be followed by a Patriotic sing-a-long.
A freewill offering
will be taken and used for hurricane relief.
A reception will be
held afterward.
The following Sunday,
November 25th, residents are again invited to come to the "Fanfares and
Fourishes" Concert, performed by Celebrations Brass at 4pm.
The Garden City
Community Church is located at 245 Stewart Avenue, corner of Whitehall
